Prodromos Tsinaslanidis is an Associate Professor of Applied Finance at the Department of Economics, University of Western Macedonia, Greece. He holds a PhD in Finance from the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Macedonia, Greece, an MSc and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the same department, and an MSc in Statistics and Modeling from the School of Mathematics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Dr. Tsinaslanidis has also been certified as a Market Maker/Market Trader by the Athens Stock Exchange. Before joining the University of Western Macedonia, he was a Senior Lecturer in Finance at Christ Church Business School, Canterbury Christ Church University, UK, where he worked for six years. His research primarily focuses on the design and evaluation of algorithms for financial applications, including the development and assessment of trading strategies, pattern recognition, and technical analysis. He has authored several research papers and one book, Technical Analysis for Algorithmic Pattern Recognition, published with Springer.
