Dr. Dimitris Folinas is a Professor at the International Hellenic University. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Informatics and a Master’s in Information Systems, both from the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece. With over 20 years of teaching experience, he has held academic positions at Greek and European (United Kingdom) universities. He has authored or co-authored more than 320 research publications and 16 books. As a researcher, he has led, submitted, and managed numerous projects funded by national and European Union research bodies. His research interests and professional expertise focus on Industry 4.0 & 5.0, enterprise information systems, logistics and supply chain management, and emerging technologies.
