On December 1st, at the Science and Cultural Center of FORTH in Heraklion, Professor and Academician Konstantinos Zopounidis, member of the FTSAI Lab, was awarded the title of Knight of the Order of the Academic Palms by the French Republic.
The distinction was presented in recognition of his outstanding contribution to science and his long-standing role in strengthening academic and research cooperation between Greece and France. The ceremony was honored by the presence of H.E. Ms. Laurence Auer, Ambassador of France to Greece.
A great honor for Professor Zopounidis and for the Greek academic community as a whole.
