The participation of Professor Achilleas Zapranis, Director of the Financial Technology & Strategic Artificial Intelligence (FTSAI) Laboratory, in the project concerning the development of the software platform “Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP) of Higher Education Institutions – Cloud Platform” has been successfully completed. The project was implemented on behalf of ILYDA INFORMATICS S.A.
The assignment was based on Professor Achilleas Zapranis’ extensive scientific expertise in advanced digital technologies, as well as his strong research interest in the development of state-of-the-art technologies with significant impact on the information technology and telecommunications sectors.
Within the framework of this collaboration, Professor Zapranis contributed to the implementation of a key project deliverable involving the preparation of a study on the application of distributed ledger technologies (blockchain). The study provided comprehensive technological and theoretical documentation, highlighted best practices, identified critical technological and operational risks, and addressed key system design considerations. At the same time, it was structured to serve as a scientific infrastructure and reference framework for the development of specialized applications in the field of traceability.
The successful completion of the project further strengthens the role of the FTSAI Laboratory in bridging academic research with applied technological innovation, supporting the development of advanced digital solutions with direct applicability to real-world information systems.
